CMR Green Technologies Limited, incorporated in 2006, is one of India's leading non-ferrous metal recycling companies, specializing in the production of recycled aluminium alloys, zinc die-casting alloys, aluminium billets, and various metal scrap products. The company plays a key role in promoting sustainable metal recycling and supporting the decarbonization of the aluminium industry.
The company serves several leading automotive OEMs and Tier-1 component manufacturers, including Honda Cars India, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Royal Enfield, Maruti Suzuki, Endurance Technologies, and Jindal Stainless. Its product portfolio includes aluminium ingots, liquid aluminium alloys, aluminium billets, copper scrap, and brass scrap.
As of December 31, 2025, CMR Green Technologies operated with 784 permanent employees and 3,956 contractual workers. With strong manufacturing capabilities, long-term customer relationships, strategic joint ventures, and a diversified supplier network, the company has established itself as a leading player in India's secondary aluminium market.
Leadership in Aluminium Recycling Industry: CMR Green Technologies is one of the leading players in India's aluminium recycling sector. The industry has significant entry barriers due to capital requirements, technical expertise, and regulatory compliance, which strengthens the company's competitive position.
Large Manufacturing Capacity: The company operates one of the largest recycling and production capacities among industry participants. Its scale of operations enables it to efficiently serve large customers and maintain a strong market presence.
Diversified Customer Base: CMR Green Technologies serves a wide range of customers, including leading automotive OEMs and Tier-1 component manufacturers. This diversified customer portfolio helps reduce dependence on any single client or industry segment.
Strong Supplier Network: The company has established long-term relationships with a broad supplier base for sourcing raw materials. This supports stable procurement and helps ensure uninterrupted production operations.
Experienced Management Team: CMR Green Technologies is led by an experienced management team with deep industry knowledge and operational expertise. Their experience has played a key role in the company's growth and market leadership.
Entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS): The CMR Green Technologies IPO is completely an Offer for Sale (OFS). As a result, the company will not receive any fresh funds from the IPO, and the proceeds will go to the selling shareholders.
Dependence on the Automotive Industry: A significant portion of the company's revenue comes from the automotive sector. Any slowdown in vehicle production, demand, or industry growth could negatively impact the company's business performance and financial results.
Rising Debt Levels: The company's total borrowings increased to Rs. 1,303.22 crore as of December 31, 2025. Higher debt levels may increase interest costs and could affect profitability if not managed efficiently.
Low Profit Margins: Although the company generates substantial revenue, its profit margins remain relatively low. This may limit earnings growth and make profitability vulnerable to changes in operating costs.
Exposure to Metal Price Volatility: CMR Green Technologies operates in the metal recycling industry, where fluctuations in aluminium, zinc, copper, and other metal prices can directly impact margins and overall profitability.
