Sahajanand Medical Technologies Limited, incorporated in October 2001, is a medical technology company engaged in developing, manufacturing and marketing advanced medical devices, primarily for vascular and structural heart interventions. Its product portfolio includes coronary stents, coronary balloons, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) devices, occluders, renal stents and peripheral drug-coated balloons. The company focuses on research and development, precision manufacturing and product innovation, with flagship brands such as Supraflex Cruz, Cocoon and Hydra.
The company operates three manufacturing facilities across India and Thailand, along with two research and development centres. As of June 30, 2026, it had 119 patents granted globally, with 78 patent applications in the pipeline and five design registrations in India. During FY 2026, its products were marketed in 77 countries through direct sales, hybrid models and distributor networks, with an established presence in India, Europe and other international markets.
Sahajanand Medical Technologies reported revenue from operations of Rs. 1,210.50 crore in FY 2026, compared with Rs. 1,024.88 crore in FY 2025 and Rs. 901.60 crore in FY 2024. Its profit after tax increased from Rs. 25.15 crore in FY 2025 to Rs. 69.08 crore in FY 2026. The company is coming out with a book-built IPO worth approximately Rs. 475.48 crore, entirely through an Offer for Sale (OFS). Therefore, the IPO will provide an exit opportunity to existing shareholders, while the company itself will not receive any proceeds from the offer.
Established International Market Presence: The company's products were marketed in 77 countries during FY 2026. Its established distribution network and presence in India, Europe and other international markets provide access to a geographically diversified customer base.
Strong Research and Development Capabilities: Sahajanand Medical Technologies focuses on product innovation and operates two R&D centres in India and Thailand. Its 119 granted global patents and 78 pending patent applications indicate an established intellectual property portfolio that may support future product development.
Specialised Medical Device Portfolio: The company offers coronary stents, balloons, TAVI devices, occluders, renal stents and peripheral drug-coated balloons. This portfolio allows it to participate in several specialised areas of cardiovascular intervention rather than depending on a single medical device category.
Revenue and Profit Growth in FY 2026: Revenue from operations increased from Rs. 1,024.88 crore in FY 2025 to Rs. 1,210.50 crore in FY 2026. Profit after tax also increased from Rs. 25.15 crore to Rs. 69.08 crore, indicating an improvement in reported financial performance during the period.
Manufacturing Infrastructure Across Two Countries: The company operates three manufacturing facilities and two R&D centres across India and Thailand. This infrastructure supports its manufacturing and product development activities and provides an operational base for serving international markets.
No Fresh Capital for the Company: The IPO is entirely an Offer for Sale. The company will not receive any proceeds from the issue, as the money will go to the selling shareholders. Investors should therefore not view the IPO as a direct capital infusion for business expansion or debt repayment.
Valuation Risk: At the upper price band of Rs. 344 per share, the provided post-issue price-to-earnings ratio is approximately 57.91 times. This valuation requires investors to assess whether the company's future earnings growth and profitability can justify the price being asked.
Increasing Borrowings: Total borrowings increased from Rs. 175.27 crore in FY 2024 to Rs. 224.96 crore in FY 2025 and Rs. 269.53 crore in FY 2026. Rising borrowings can increase interest costs and financial obligations, making it important to examine debt servicing capacity and cash flow generation.
Exposure to Regulatory and Product Approval Requirements: Medical device manufacturers must comply with applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements and product approval processes across the markets in which they operate. Changes in regulations, delays in approvals or product-related quality concerns could affect operations, sales and profitability.
International Market and Competition Risks: The company operates across several international markets, exposing it to currency fluctuations, changing local regulations, distribution challenges and competition from other medical device manufacturers. Maintaining product acceptance and market share may require continued investment in innovation, manufacturing quality and commercial operations.
