Ardee Industries Limited is an Indian metal recycling company incorporated in 1993, primarily engaged in the sustainable recovery and recycling of end-of-life batteries and non-ferrous metal scrap. The company manufactures high-purity lead and specialized lead alloys, including lead calcium, lead antimony, lead tin, lead silver, and lead cadmium alloys, which are widely used in the energy storage, automotive, e-mobility, and chemical industries.
The company operates a modern manufacturing facility spread across approximately 7.61 acres in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh, with an installed production capacity of 104,025 MTPA. Its plant is equipped with advanced recycling technology, refining systems, casting facilities, and pollution control infrastructure. Ardee Industries also holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications for quality, environmental management, and occupational health & safety.
As of March 31, 2025, the company served more than 50 customers across domestic and international markets. Its products are exported to seven countries, including Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the UAE, Japan, and the United States. The company focuses on supporting the circular economy by converting industrial waste into reusable raw materials while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Financially, Ardee Industries has delivered strong growth. Between FY2025 and FY2026, total income increased from Rs. 743.53 crore to Rs. 1,168.88 crore, while profit after tax rose from Rs. 33.27 crore to Rs. 84.68 crore. The IPO proceeds will mainly be used to fund working capital requirements, repay a portion of existing borrowings, and support general corporate purposes.
Established Industry Presence: Ardee Industries has been operating in the lead recycling business since 1993, giving it over three decades of industry experience. Its long operating history has helped the company build technical expertise, customer trust, and stable business relationships.
Strong Financial Performance: The company has reported significant growth in revenue and profitability in recent years. Higher earnings, improved operating margins, and better return ratios indicate improving business efficiency and financial strength.
Modern Manufacturing Infrastructure: The company operates a technologically advanced manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh with an installed capacity of over 104,000 MTPA. The plant is equipped with modern recycling, refining, casting, and pollution control systems to support efficient production.
Diversified Customer and Export Network: Ardee Industries serves customers across both domestic and international markets. Its exports to multiple countries reduce dependence on a single geography and provide access to wider business opportunities.
Commodity Price Risk Management: The company follows commodity price hedging practices to reduce the impact of fluctuations in lead prices. This strategy helps improve cost management and supports more stable operating performance.
Exposure to Lead Price Volatility: The company's revenue and profitability are influenced by changes in global lead prices. Significant price fluctuations could impact operating margins despite the use of hedging strategies.
Manufacturing Concentration Risk: The company's production activities are currently concentrated at a single manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. Any operational disruption at this plant could temporarily affect production and business operations.
Dependence on Raw Material Availability: The business relies on a steady supply of used batteries and non-ferrous scrap for recycling. Any shortage or increase in procurement costs could affect production efficiency and profitability.
Regulatory and Environmental Compliance: Lead recycling is subject to strict environmental and pollution control regulations. Any changes in government policies or compliance requirements could increase operating costs or affect business operations.
High Working Capital Requirement: The nature of the recycling business requires substantial investment in inventory and raw material procurement, resulting in relatively higher working capital needs.
