Skyways Air Services Limited, incorporated in December 1984, is a logistics and freight forwarding company providing end-to-end supply chain solutions across domestic and international markets. Its services include air freight forwarding, ocean freight forwarding, trucking, warehousing, customs broking, express cargo and parcel delivery, and other value-added logistics services.
The company has evolved from a Custom House Agent into a multi-modal logistics service provider. Its operations are supported by relationships with international airlines such as Saudi Cargo, Air India Cargo, Emirates and Lufthansa, along with memberships in global logistics networks including WCA, AOP, C5C, MGLN, GFA and TWIG.
Skyways Air Services also uses proprietary technology platforms including SLS HIKE, SLS 100X, SLS 100X 2.0, Cargo Dash and Skart-Edge for freight booking, shipment tracking, workflow automation, documentation and operational reporting. The company is also developing its upcoming ASAP platform.
According to World ACD data cited by the company, Skyways Air Services was ranked No. 1 Air Freight Forwarder based on AWBs generated for four consecutive calendar years from 2022 to 2025. As of June 30, 2026, the company had 320 employees, while the company and its subsidiaries together had 1,193 employees as of March 31, 2026.
Established Industry Presence: With operations dating back to 1984, Skyways Air Services has more than 40 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics. This provides the company with an established operating base and industry knowledge.
Strong Air Freight Position: The company has been ranked No. 1 Air Freight Forwarder by AWBs generated for four consecutive calendar years from 2022 to 2025, according to World ACD data cited in its disclosures.
Diversified Service Portfolio: The company operates across air freight, ocean freight, trucking, warehousing, customs broking and express cargo. This gives it exposure to multiple segments of the logistics value chain.
International Connectivity: Relationships with airlines such as Saudi Cargo, Air India Cargo, Emirates and Lufthansa, along with global logistics network memberships, support the company's international freight forwarding operations.
Technology Infrastructure: Proprietary platforms such as SLS HIKE, SLS 100X, Cargo Dash and Skart-Edge support booking, tracking, documentation and workflow processes, helping the company integrate technology into its logistics operations.
High Borrowings: The company reported total borrowings of Rs. 624.06 crore as of March 31, 2026. Although a portion of the fresh issue is intended for debt repayment or pre-payment, the company's financial leverage remains an important factor for investors to monitor.
Low Net Profit Margin: The PAT margin stood at 2.26% in FY2026. A relatively thin net margin can make profitability sensitive to increases in operating expenses, freight-related costs and other changes in the business environment.
Working Capital Requirement: The company plans to deploy Rs. 130 crore from the fresh issue towards incremental working capital. Continued expansion may require additional working capital, which can affect cash flows and liquidity.
Exposure to Global Trade: A significant part of the company's business is connected with international logistics. Changes in global trade volumes, tariffs, geopolitical conditions, foreign exchange rates or international trade policies could affect freight activity and financial performance.
