Lumino Industries Ltd., incorporated in 2005, is an integrated engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company operating in the power transmission and distribution sector. The Company is engaged in manufacturing and supplying aluminium conductors, power cables, electrical wires and specialised electrical products.
Lumino Industries also manufactures High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) conductors, which are used in transmission and distribution lines. Its operations are divided into two major segments: Manufacturing and EPC.
The Company's EPC business covers power transmission and distribution, EHV substations, HTLS re-conductoring, railway electrification, solar power projects and water management projects. It supplies its products to major EPC players in India and also caters to international customers, including electricity companies, public enterprises and electricity boards. Lumino Industries has a presence across markets including the USA, Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Nepal, Bangladesh, Kenya, Ghana, Rwanda and Ethiopia. As of March 31, 2026, the Company had 890 permanent employees.
Integrated Manufacturing and EPC Business: Lumino Industries operates across both manufacturing and EPC activities, giving the Company multiple revenue streams within the power and infrastructure sector.
Wide Range of Electrical Products: The Company's manufacturing portfolio includes aluminium conductors, power cables, electrical wires and HTLS conductors, enabling it to serve different requirements of the power transmission and distribution industry.
International Customer Base: Apart from the Indian market, Lumino Industries supplies products to customers in several international markets, providing geographical diversification to its business operations.
Strong Profit Growth: The Company reported PAT of Rs. 160.00 crore in FY2026 compared with Rs. 124.59 crore in FY2025, representing a growth of around 28%. Its PAT margin also improved from 6.40% to 7.66%.
Improving Balance Sheet Position: The Company plans to utilise Rs. 337.00 crore of the issue proceeds for repayment or prepayment of certain outstanding borrowings. This could help lower its debt burden after the IPO.
Dependence on Infrastructure Sector: The Company's performance is influenced by investments in power transmission, distribution and other infrastructure projects. A slowdown in infrastructure spending or project awards could affect its business.
EPC Execution Risk: EPC projects involve multiple stages of procurement, construction and execution. Delays, cost overruns, changes in project scope or difficulties in completing contracts could negatively impact profitability.
Raw Material Price Volatility: Manufacturing operations require raw materials such as aluminium and other electrical industry inputs. Fluctuations in their prices may put pressure on margins if the increased costs cannot be passed on to customers.
Existing Debt Obligations: Lumino Industries had total borrowings of Rs. 384.16 crore as of March 31, 2026. Although a substantial part of the fresh issue is intended for debt repayment, the Company remains exposed to borrowing-related financial obligations.
Promoter Stake Dilution: The promoter and promoter group holding will decrease from 100% before the IPO to 71.97% after the issue. This reduction results from the fresh issue as well as the offer for sale by promoter shareholders.
