E Shram is an initiative the Government of India started to support workers in the unorganized sectors. The government has also launched the e Shram portal to manage and collect the database of various government schemes.   1. A monthly pension of Rs.3,000 will be provided after reaching the age of 60.

  2. In case of death, the worker’s family will receive an insurance payout of Rs.2,00,000, and if the worker suffers a partial disability, financial assistance of Rs.1,00,000 will be given.

  3. If a worker with an e Shram card passes away due to an accident, all the benefits will be transferred to the spouse.

  4. Beneficiaries will receive a 12-digit Universal Account Number (UAN), which is valid nationwide.

  5. This amount will be transferred directly to the applicant’s Bank account.
