About Bharti Hexacom Limited

Bharti Hexacom is a communications solutions provider offering consumer mobile services, fixed-line telephone and broadband services to customers in the Rajasthan and the North East telecommunication circles in India, which comprises the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. They offer their services under the brand ‘Airtel’. They are present in 486 towns and serve 3 crore customers across both the circles. Company holds 40% revenue share in Rajashthan circle and 52% share in North East circle.

Company was originally incorporated in 1995 as ‘Hexacom India Limited’. In 2004, the name was changed to ‘Bharti Hexacom Limited’ when Airtel acquired a majority equity interest in our Company. Airtel owns 70% of its outstanding equity share capital.

Established Leadership : Bharti Hexacom is at number one position in the North East circle. In the Rajasthan circle, it stands at the close second position. They have been able to grow their market share by following a strategy of acquiring and retaining high value customers.
High Growth Market: The company operates in circles with low teledensity compared to national average, especially in rural areas. The government is also implementing various infrastructure development projects to augment connectivity.
Strong Brand: Airtel owns 70% of our outstanding equity share capital. Airtel is a global communications solutions provider with over 500 million customers in 17 countries across South Asia and Africa. Airtel holds a revenue market share in India of 37%. Company also benefits from the telecommunication infrastructure and other digital assets of Airtel.
Extensive Distribution: Company has an extensive sales and distribution network across the rural and urban areas of the Rajasthan and North East circles serviced by 617 distributors and 59 stores.
Regional Concentration: Bharti Hexacom derives revenue from providing mobile telephone services in Rajasthan and the North East circle and any unfavourable developments in such regions could adversely affect the business.
Outstanding Legal Proceedings: There are outstanding legal proceedings involving company's promoter, in addition to the company. Any adverse outcome in any of these proceedings may adversely affect its reputation and business.
